Doug Mueller

Head Sports Performance Coach

Doug graduated from the University of St. Thomas in the Twin Cities where he studied Exercise Science and competed on the track and cross country teams. Still wanting to compete, Doug has completed 4 marathons and has visions of completing the Madison Ironman.  After receiving his certification as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist, Doug moved on to try out a few different positions. In the summer of 2017, he worked with various teams at Nicholls State University in Southern Louisiana helping to support the strength and conditioning staff. Soon after, he started a similar season long program working with the University of Wisconsin Badger Football Team, helping them to one of the best seasons in program history. After moving back to his hometown, Doug’s next move was working with the strength and conditioning team on the Milwaukee Brewers, while simultaneously coaching local athletes at Athlete Performance.

Starting as a young athlete and continuing in the field through his experiences at the University of St. Thomas, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Nicholls State and the Milwaukee Brewers, Doug’s passion for training athletes is shown each and every workout.
